Nick Bengel
Nick stresses the importance of continuing education, and leads by example. After earning an Associate’s degree in HVAC&R from Ferris State University, he worked hard to become NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certified. Nick continues his own education with active engagement in Green Built Michigan, a network of building professionals that exists "to educate the building industry and the general public on methods to build more environmentally sustainable housing.” In his time off, Nick enjoys chasing his kids around.

Eric Simon
Eric earned a Bachelors degree in HVAC&R Engineering Technology from Ferris State University, and obtained a HERS (Home Energy Rating System) certificate this year. In his time off Eric enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.

A Portland native, Randy has been with ESI since 2001, and brings over seven years of hands-on experience to our staff. In Randy’s free time he enjoys golfing and playing recreational sports.
